Published Theses on Health in the Field of Social Sciences in 2025

Abstract

This study aims to examine the bibliometric analysis of health-related theses published in the social sciences in 2025, focusing on their subject matter, type, language, and institutional distribution. A search conducted on February 15, 2026, in the Higher Education Council National Thesis Center Database yielded 2,263 theses. After excluding irrelevant theses, a total of 1,433 theses were obtained. The theses were evaluated according to the languages, types, and topics in which they were published. Of the theses, 1,135 were master's theses (79.2%). The language of 1,361 theses was Turkish (95%). Most of the theses were conducted at universities in Istanbul (472 theses). The topics of health management, psychology, and health institution management were prominent in the theses.
