Abstract

As we commence our fourth year, we present a robust scholarly volume centered on societal, public health, and artistic themes. Fatma Levent critically examines humor as a social system, while Oğuz Dicle investigates the intersection of caricature and public health through the seminal works of Cumhur Ertekin. Three research articles address critical issues: suicide statistics in Türkiye, the sociocultural ramifications of urbanization, and the evolving sexual health experiences of African migrant women. Notable contributions include Zeynep Kılıç’s analytical exploration of domestic terrorism and Aylin Leblebici Öztürk’s groundbreaking discourse on the nexus between spirituality and health. Enhanced by AI-assisted visual materials and Hamza Yıldız’s evocative cover photography, this issue exemplifies interdisciplinary rigor. We extend our gratitude to all contributors and anticipate continued scholarly engagement in future editions.
