Abstract

The widespread use of technology and artificial intelligence across various fields is both transformative and concerning today. Key discussions in the literature focus on issues such as what drives technological innovation, its positive and negative impacts, effects on labor processes and work life, and ethical responsibilities. This study specifically explores how global and societal shifts influence gender discussions, especially in relation to the gendered design of humanoid robots. The role of women in the consumption, design, and production of the digital world—an increasingly vital arena for the future—has become an important topic. This study critically analyzes current gender representations within the digital realm through a gender studies lens. By engaging in these discussions within the social sciences, this research seeks to raise awareness for fostering a more gender-equitable digital future.
